About the journal
How we research
Our current guides are researched articles. We have not run laboratory tests, clinical studies or the comparative sleep trials previously claimed on this site. This page retains its older address so existing links remain useful.
Start with a useful question
We focus on a concrete reader task: making a warm bedroom more comfortable, interpreting a fabric label, cleaning a pillow safely or deciding when a sleep symptom needs attention. A guide should help with that task without requiring a purchase.
Match the source to the claim
For health information, we prioritize public health authorities and established health organizations. For care and specifications, the relevant manufacturer's instructions matter. Consumer guides can provide context, but a retailer's claim is not independent evidence of performance.
Each article lists its sources and the date they were checked. A checked link means we reviewed the available source for that guide; it is not a promise to monitor it continuously. Product information and guidance can change.
Keep evidence and inference distinct
A material name, certificate or surface-temperature measurement does not establish that a product improves sleep. We explain the limits of a claim and avoid turning ordinary comfort observations into medical conclusions. We do not assign product ratings without a documented basis.
Explain our commercial interest
This journal shares ownership with the related stores listed on our ownership page. We can benefit if readers visit or buy from those stores. A link or mention is not evidence of an independent endorsement. See the full disclosure.
Correct material errors
On September 12, 2026, the six existing articles were rewritten to remove unsupported tester identities, comparative results, product scores and clinical implications. We also retired older pages without a verified replacement instead of preserving misleading product listings.
To suggest a correction, email hello@lumuwala.com with the page and a supporting source. Material updates should change the article's update date and, where useful, explain the correction.
