Accessibility Statement
This statement explains how lumuwala approaches digital accessibility, the standards we target, and how to get in touch if something is hard to use.
Last updated March 20, 2026
We aim to make browsing, shopping, and account management work well for visitors of all abilities.
We use the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines as the benchmark for our ongoing accessibility work.
If something on the storefront is hard to use, email us and we will work to make it better.
lumuwala is committed to making our digital experience accessible to people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards as part of how we build and maintain the storefront.
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing process rather than a one-time project, and we revisit our pages, components, and patterns regularly as the site evolves.
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Conformance is a continual effort. Some areas of the site may not yet fully meet every Level AA criterion, and we keep a backlog of items to address as the storefront evolves.
We use semantic HTML5 markup with ARIA landmarks where appropriate, keyboard navigation support for interactive controls, and visible focus styling so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.
Product imagery uses descriptive alt text where available, color contrast targets the WCAG AA ratios for body content, and layouts are responsive so they work with screen readers and browser zoom.
Some legacy product imagery, embedded media, or third-party widgets may not yet meet our internal accessibility targets. We progressively update these as we revisit each area of the storefront.
If you encounter content that is difficult to use, please let us know so we can prioritize it in our backlog.
If you run into an accessibility barrier on the lumuwala storefront, please email support@lumuwala.com with the page URL and a short description of the issue.
We aim to respond within 2 business days and to triage fixes into our regular release cycle based on impact.
The accessibility of this storefront is self-assessed by our internal team using a mix of manual review, keyboard-only testing, and automated tooling.
Larger updates to navigation, checkout, and key product flows trigger a focused accessibility pass before they ship.
